For the Muffins
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- ¼ cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup whole milk
For the Honey Butter Glaze
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ tsp OOOFlavors Corn Bread Flavor Concentrate
DIRECTIONS

Preheat and prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Mix dry ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Combine wet ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, melted butter, corn bread flavor concentrate, egg, and milk until smooth.

Combine and fill:
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (avoid overmixing).
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Bake the muffins:
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Prepare the glaze:
- While the muffins are baking, whisk together the melted butter, honey, and corn bread flavor concentrate in a small bowl until smooth.

- Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Brush the honey butter glaze generously over the tops of the warm muffins.
